How much does it cost to rent a car in Medellín?
Our premium fleet starts at 320,000 COP per day (around 80 USD) for the executive sedan and scales up by category for SUVs, 4x4 diesel and armored vehicles. The rate includes insurance and up to date maintenance. Message us on WhatsApp and we will send the exact price for the vehicle you want.
What do I need to rent as a foreign visitor?
A valid passport, a valid driver license from your home country (accepted as is for stays under six months), a credit card in the main driver's name for the deposit and the address where you are staying. No international permit translation is required.
Do you deliver to the Medellín airport?
Yes. We deliver and collect the vehicle directly at the José María Córdova (MDE) airport in Rionegro for 150,000 COP per trip. Book at least 24 hours ahead to secure your slot. We also deliver to hotels and addresses in El Poblado, Laureles, Envigado and Sabaneta.
Is insurance included in the rental?
Every vehicle goes out with mandatory SOAT coverage and a comprehensive policy with a deductible that covers third party damage, theft and damage to the vehicle. If you want full peace of mind, we offer extended coverage to lower or remove the deductible.
Can I drive outside Medellín?
Base rates cover Medellín and nearby destinations such as Guatapé and Santa Fe de Antioquia. For longer trips to other cities, let us know in advance so we can confirm the route is authorized. Coordinate it on WhatsApp before you book.
How does the pico y placa driving restriction work?
Vehicles with local plates follow Medellín's weekday pico y placa rotation based on the last plate digit. When you confirm your booking we tell you the plate number so you can plan your drives. If you need a vehicle without restriction, ask us about the options.
How do I book, and is everything in English?
Everything happens over WhatsApp with Paulina, in English. You share your dates and vehicle, we verify your documents, sign a digital contract and arrange delivery. Within minutes your reservation is confirmed and the car is held in your name.
